Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Ingredients:
3 tbsp oil of your choice (olive oil, grapeseed, canola, or vegetable)
1 tbsp vinegar of your choice(white wine, balsamic, apple cider, rice, sherry, etc)
1 tsp prepared mustard or honey
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1. Add all of the ingredients to a small mason jar, screw on the lid, and shake until blended. You can also whisk the ingredients together in a bowl or mix in a blender.

2. Taste and adjust seasonings if desired.

3. Serve. Keep leftover dressing in a sealed container in the refrigerator for 2 – 3 days.

Variations:

1-2 tbsp  fresh chopped herbs, (basil, oregano, thyme, mint, etc)
1 clove garlic, finely minced
2 tsp  shallots, scallions, or onion, finely chopped
1 tsp fresh hot pepper, deseeded and finely chopped
